Plum Sauce


  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 TBSP Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. Mustard powder
  • 1 TBSP White Vinegar
  • 1 cup Mariani Pitted Dried Prunes, diced
  • 1/4 tsp. Grated lemon zest
  • 1 TBSP lemon juice
  • 1-1/2 cups water


In a saucepan, stir together brown sugar, cornstarch and mustard powder.  Slowly stir in vinegar, dried prunes, lemon zest, lemon juice and water.  Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil.

Serve hot over ham, chicken or pork roast.
