Cranberry Crunch Cookies


2 1/4 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter (softened)

1/2 cup baking soda shortening (softened)

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups Mariani Dried Cranberries

1 cup coarsely chopped mixed nuts


Preheat oven to 375° F
Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
Beat butter, shortening, sugars and vanilla together. Add one add at a time and beat well.
Blend in flour mixture.
Mix in cranberries and nuts.
Drop round tablespoons on a non-stick cookie sheet or baking stone.

Bake at 375° F for 10-12 minutes.
