Brussels Sprouts with Bacon, Dried Cranberries, and Pecans


4 slices bacon
1 pound brussels sprouts, cleaned and cut in half
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons water
1/4 cup chopped Mariani Dried Cranberries
1/4 cup chopped pecans


  1. Cook bacon in a skillet. Remove the bacon from pan when crisp and chop bacon into pieces. Reserve 1 tablespoon bacon grease.
  2. Add the brussels sprouts to the skillet with the reserved bacon grease. Sauté until lightly brown, about 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper and toss.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of water and cover.  Steam for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in bacon pieces, Mariani Dried Cranberries, and pecans. Toss to mix ingredients.
