Shortcut Dried Fruit Ketchups

Ingredients

Apricot Sriracha Ginger

1 cup prepared ketchup

1/2 cup Mariani Dried Apricots, Ultimate Apricots or Probiotic Apricots, coarsely chopped

1/4 cup unseasoned rice vinegar or white wine vinegar

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons chopped or broken Mariani Crystallized Ginger

2 to 3 teaspoons Sriracha sauce

 

Chipotle Cherry 

1 cup prepared ketchup

1/2 cup Mariani Dried Cherries

1/4 cup lime juice or wine vinegar

1/4 cup water

1 small canned chipotle pepper, plus 1 teaspoon adobo sauce from can

Minced fresh cilantro (optional)

 

Berry Herb

1 cup prepared ketchup

1/2 cup Mariani Probiotic Berries & Plums*

1/4 cup wine vinegar

2 to 3 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons minced fresh basil

*May substitute a mixture of Mariani Cranberries and Blueberries

Directions

Apricot Sriracha Ginger

Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes, then let cool. Puree in a small blender or food processor until very smooth.

Makes about 1 2/3 cups

 

 

 

 


Chipotle Cherry
 

Place all ingredients except cilantro in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes, then let cool. Puree in a small blender or food processor until very smooth. Stir in cilantro if desired.

Makes about 1 3/4 cups

 

 

Berry Herb

Place all ingredients except  basil in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes, then let cool. Puree in a small blender or food processor until very smooth. Stir in basil. Makes about 1 2/3 cups.

 

 

Serve on small burgers or turkey burgers so that you can sample all 3 flavors.

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook/Stand time: 20 minutes
